Calvary Baptist Church of Bloomington welcomes Rev. Brian Stewart as Senior Pastor. 
Rev. Stewart is the former Associate Pastor of Highlands Baptist Church, Lakeland, Florida.  
He is originally from Cleveland, OH, but has spent much of his life as a resident of the sunshine state.
Bro. Stewart served as a United States Marine from 1989-1995. He graduated from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO in 1994 and has seventeen years ministry experience.
He was Youth Pastor at Community Baptist Church, Stuart, Florida for 21/2 years.  He served as Associate Pastor for 5 years at Prairie View Baptist Church, Lake City, Illinois.
In 2002 God led Bro. Stewart to become the pastor of New Testament Baptist Church, and in 2005, New Testament merged with Highlands Baptist Church and Highlands Pastor Richardson invited Bro. Stewart to come on staff.
Bro. Stewart and his wife Danielle have been married since 1992 and have six children.
He will be taking the pastorate in November, 2011.
